Päijänteen Suopalloilijat

Absurdia. Absurdia, absurdia. Absurdia. Absurdia? Absurdia! Absurdi tarkoittaa järjetöntä, järjenvastaista, mahdotonta tai mieletöntä. Voisin siis luonnehtia blogipäivitykseni alkuosaa absurdiksi. Yhden miehen show Päijänteen suopalloilijat kuvailee musiikkiesityksistä ja novelleista koostuvaa esitystään absurdiksi, vaikka aiheet eivät mielestäni ihan järjettömyyteen asti ylläkään. Vaikka esimerkiksi kappale, joka nostaa pieneläinhoitajien lakon lähes katastrofin ainekset täyttävälle tasolle, on hauska ja oivaltava, jotakin puuttuu. Suurimmassa osassa musiikkiesityksistä luovuuden valloilleen sysännyt idea on ollut hyvä, mutta sisältö jää merkityksemättömäksi eikä kyseenalaista kappaleen lähtökohtia, toisin kuin kuulija voisi aluksi olettaa.

Päijänteen suopalloilijoilla on hyvä “liike-idea”, joskin siinä olisi vielä parannettavaa. Ainoan jäsenen kannattaisi miettiä kumppanin hankkimista vaikkapa sanoitusten ”puhtaaksilukutarkoitukseen”. Lyriikoita olisi syytä kehitellä entistä pidemmälle, jotta se kaivattu absurdia saataisiin kaivettua rivien välistä esille. Päijänteen suopalloilijoiden esitys Raision teatterissa viihdytti, mutta sai jälkeenpäin tajuamaan, etten pitänytkään siitä. Kuulostaako absurdilta? Tässä syy: paikan päällä viihtyvyyteen saattoi vaikuttaa esiintyjän karisma, joka kadotessaan esityksen jo päätyttyä sai katsojan kyseenalaistamaan näytöksen sisällön. Kaiken kaikkiaan Päijänteen suopalloilijoiden show oli uusi ja mukava kokemus, jota en kuitenkaan lähtisi ainakaan samalla ohjelmistolla katsomaan uudestaan.
