Wurmloch By Turun Anikistit won Special Prize in Tampere Short Film Festival

WurmlochTurun Anikistit, directors collective based in Turku has won a Special Prize in Tampere Short Film Festival´s national competition with the animated film Wurmloch (Wormhole, Madonreikä). All the directors are Turku Arts Academy graduates in animation and they have worked together over several years now making animated films together and individually.

The jury statement says; The intelligently dirty and funny animation by the director collective is put together in an adequately willy-nilly way and it toys with Freudianity in a Freudian way. The light and colorful animation technique creates an absurd world which offers plenty of food for thought and inspiration. High-minded antics.
