Elli Vuorinen´s Still Lives in Nordisk Panorama

Elli Vuorinen´s experimental animation Still Lives ( Kiirehessä liikkumatoin) has been chosen in Best Nordic Short Film Competition at Nordisk Panorama festival.

The festival celebrates the very best of Nordic shorts & docs in a true Nordic championship. Out of 532 submissions, a total of 55 films will be competing for the Nordisk Panorama Awards on 19-24 Sept. 2019, in Malmö, Sweden.

The Best Nordic Short Film Award is presented by the short film jury to one of the 20 films in the Nordic Short Film Competition. The prize-winning film will qualify for consideration in the Short Film Category of the Annual Academy Awards® without the standard theatrical run, provided that the film otherwise complies with the Academy rules. The award goes to the director(s) of the film.

20 short films compete for the Nordic Short Film Award.

Still Lives is produced by Pyjama Films and it has been presented in many international festival. There has been also three channel video installation based on the film in MUU gallery, Helsinki.
